Maybe you are experiencing sadness, depression, anxiety, some kind of emotional distress, discomfort or dissatisfaction, be it for something you recognise i.e relationships, family matters, bereavement, loss, ill health, work worries, or you may have no idea of the cause, yet you are feeling empty or lacking purpose, feeling ‘stuck’ or maybe you are at a crossroads in your life.

It takes a great deal of courage to acknowledge to ourselves that we might need some help, that we no longer want to suffer and struggle to cope, no longer want to just exist, but live a full life instead.

I truly believe that working through our pain, empowers us to find who we truly want to be. I can assist with a range of issues including:

  • Experiencing ongoing sadness or depression
  • Anxiety
  • Stress
  • Self-harm
  • Low self-esteem and confidence
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Bereavement, grief, loss and separation
  • Trauma and crisis
  • Search for meaning and direction in personal and work-related areas
  • Addiction
  • Feeling a lack of meaning in life
  • Struggling with life transitions
  • Loss of purpose, crisis and meaning.

”The journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step…” Laozi

My approach is integrative and my starting point is always to establish a relationship with you which feels safe, and supportive where we explore together your pain, challenges and difficulties, as well as your hopes and dreams. Through both my own personal experience and working with others, I strongly believe, that at the right time, life creates an opening for change and transformation.

“The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you really are” Carl Jung

These moments of opportunity can be easily lost, but with the right counsellor to guide you, life can become meaningful and purposeful.

Please feel free to contact me and we can have an initial conversation about whether counselling may be appropriate for you.                  This initial conversation can be face to face, by email or via phone. Whatever makes you feel most comfortable and makes that initial step feel less daunting.

I look forward to hearing from you.
